Astrid Williamson: Co-writing on 'Bang That Drum' & 'Strike This'

Co-writing on ‘Bang That Drum’ and ‘Strike This’.

Comprising of composer Nick Powell, cellist Sarah Wilson and bassist Johnny Daw, Astrid met Nick (previously of the 90s band Strangelove) when he joined the Boy For You touring band in 1998. They would later form a band called The Bilderberg Group, which never developed but cemented their collaborative relationship.

Sarah Wilson performs cello on many of Astrid’s solo albums.
