Pulse

Astrid met Leo Abrahams whilst supporting Kathryn Williams on her The Quickening tour, she asked him to produce Pulse.

As had happened on her previous two albums the tracks were mostly built from in progress demos. Working exclusively together in Leo’s Bow studios in London, Abrahams – who often worked with Jon Hopkins and Brian Eno – added an ambient electronic element to the album.
